Job Title: Internship: Division of Internal Oversight Services

Job Summary:

UNESCO is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented intern to support the Division of Internal Oversight Services. The successful candidate will assist in conducting audits, investigations, and evaluations of the Organization's activities, and will have the opportunity to develop skills in research, writing, and communication.

Key Responsibilities:

The intern will perform a variety of tasks, including:

  • Assisting in the development of audit plans and research plans
  • Conducting interviews with subjects, complainants, or witnesses
  • Assisting in the analysis of financial and other data
  • Contributing to the development of internal methodology, tools, and techniques
  • Assisting in the drafting of documents and communications

Requirements:

To be eligible for this internship, you must:

  • Be at least 20 years old
  • Be currently enrolled in a graduate program or have recently graduated with a Master's degree or PhD
  • Have an excellent command of English or French, and a working knowledge of the other language
  • Have excellent computer skills and knowledge of office-related software
  • Be able to work well in a team and adapt to an international working environment
