Rolling Wireless is a leading international company with over 20 years of experience in developing cutting-edge cellular modems and software for the automotive market.
We are the largest 2nd Tier supplier of cellular modems to the automotive industry, and we're looking for a talented Hardware Engineer to join our Customer Success Engineering team.
Job Summary:This role involves providing expert-level hardware support to our customers, including system integration knowledge, HW design, and troubleshooting skills. You will work closely with our customers' R&D teams to ensure seamless integration of our products and provide top-notch support to ensure their applications meet the expected quality level.
Key Responsibilities:- Be the hardware technical expert in front of customers during the integration phase of our products, providing design suggestions and analyzing main issues.
- Work in close collaboration with customers' R&D teams to review schematics and perform hardware design reviews.
- Provide troubleshooting support to ensure customer applications are ready on schedule and meet the expected quality level.
- Investigate issues reported by customers in close collaboration with other team members or platforms development engineers to provide optimized solutions.
- Communicate investigation progress to customers and project managers at regular intervals.
- Issue debugging skills in HW investigations.
- Overall system view of HW design of embedded solutions.
- Expertise in schematics review, PCB layout routing, discrete components, and Integrated Circuits (ICs).
- Knowledge in Baseband, peripherals, Radio Frequency, and Wireless technologies.
- Experience and autonomy in issues investigation/resolution.
- Skills in documentation writing/review, synthesis mind, and reporting skills.
- Customer communication and management.
- English communication.
- Knowledge in GNSS, WLAN, V2X, Bluetooth, eCall, and ERA Glonass solutions.
- Knowledge in manufacturing process and test.
