Position Overview:
ECR Environnement is dedicated to ecological consulting concerning habitats, wildlife, and plant life across various scenarios, including:
- Ecological evaluations for regulatory environmental documentation (impact assessments, Water Law compliance, Natura 2000);
- Environmental reviews of Local Urban Development Plans;
- Investigation and assessment of wetland ecosystems;
- Development of management strategies (habitat restoration, invasive species control).
As a Fauna Specialist, your responsibilities will encompass a range of tasks:
- Conducting regulatory ecological studies related to urban and/or industrial development initiatives or land management (wetland conservation, protected area oversight);
- Expertise in wildlife, particularly in herpetology and butterflies (including reptiles, amphibians, and lepidopterans);
- Executing ecological engineering projects and supervising activities (management of ecological projects, compensatory ecological measures, ecological planning in construction or urban development, restoration of industrial sites or urban wastelands);
- Engaging in biodiversity research and development initiatives;
This role necessitates significant mobility for fieldwork and meetings.
