Dispatcher Coordinator

About the Role

At Vertiv, we are seeking a skilled Dispatcher to join our team in Rungis, France. As a key member of our service operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient execution of maintenance contracts, emergency calls, and other service activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily missions of maintenance technicians and subcontractors to meet customer requirements and ensure productivity control.
• Treat customer requests related to service activity, including contracts, maintenance, and emergency calls.
• Ensure the execution of purchasing customer orders, Vertiv products, and guarantee supplies at the best price.
• Manage the daily life of engineers and subcontractors in a specific geographical area.
• Treat new orders of time and material (T&M) in the ERP system in a timely manner.
• Prepare material purchase orders and subcontractor agreements in compliance with company rules.
• Control and organize key performance indicators (KPIs) provision.
• Control staff vacation, absence, and coordinate planning with the Service Operations Director.
• Meet customer phone calls to resolve emergencies and invoice customers immediately after work completion.

Requirements

• Educated to degree level in Electrical, Electronic, HVAC, Mechanical Engineering, or Business Management.
• Good reading, writing, and speaking level of English and local language.
• Experience in running and controlling high-value M&E contracts.
• Good knowledge of HVAC and UPS products and solutions.
• Experience in negotiating with and managing subcontractors.
• Depth knowledge of business performance software packages, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Oracle.
• Ability to understand commercial business contracts and a sound knowledge of contract agreements and contract law.
• Attention to details and the ability to manage multiple tasks/priorities at any given time.
• The ability to work under pressure and to agreed timescales.
• Customer focus behavior, ability to deal with complex customers, and meet specific requirements when needed.
• Team player, able to effectively communicate with peers and supervisors, and good influencing skills when dealing with functions.
