We are seeking a highly motivated researcher to join our team at the University of Bordeaux, IHU Liryc. As a researcher in cardiac electrophysiology, you will contribute to advancing our understanding of heart rhythm diseases.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct optical mapping experiments on isolated hearts to study electrical activity and arrhythmogenesis.
- Evaluate the effects of mechanical stimulation on electrophysiology and arrhythmogenesis.
- Perform in vivo electrophysiological measurements in anesthetized animals.
- Collaborate with the modeling pole to incorporate experimental data into in silico models of cardiac electrophysiology.
- PhD in Cardiac Physiology or Medical Bioengineering.
- Strong knowledge of electrocardiac physiology.
- Autonomy and ability to work in a team.
- Experience with biopotential and/or fluorescence measurement techniques.
- Strong writing and presentation skills.
- 12-month fixed-term contract.
- Salary gross: from 2750€ to 3000€ per month.
- 50 days of vacation from the first year of collaboration.
