About the Role

This position is responsible for ensuring that all activities within the scope meet the required quality standards, minimize quality costs, and maximize customer satisfaction by ensuring that procedures and processes are adhered to.

Key Responsibilities
  • Risk Analysis and Mitigation: Participate in the preparation and monitoring of Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), taking into account feedback from both projects and factories.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Prepare, coordinate, and support the delivery of quality documentation (Advanced Product Quality Planning, Production Part Approval Process), ensuring deadlines and expected maturity levels are met.
  • Product/Process Compliance: Develop control plans at each project phase (Prototype, Pre-production, Launch, Series) in collaboration with teams to ensure customer protection.
  • Reference Sample Validation: Guarantee the cosmetic conformity of products by following a defect catalog.
  • Product/Process Robustness: Promote the rigorous application of quality tools and statistical methods (Capability, Statistical Process Control, Measurement System Analysis).
  • Customer Relations Management: Gather specific customer requirements and participate in project reviews for quality issues. Manage audits in collaboration with internal teams.
  • Problem-Solving: Effectively resolve quality issues (customer, internal, supplier) using appropriate methods (8D, Quality Review and Corrective Action, Kepner Tregoe).
  • Supplier Quality Management: Assist quality teams in managing suppliers.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of quality experience in the automotive industry, preferably in project management.
  • Education: Engineering degree or equivalent.
Technical Skills
  • Knowledge of quality tools (FMEA, Control Plan, Capability, MSA).
  • Experience with APQP processes and PPAP documentation.
  • Mastery of problem-solving methods.
  • Knowledge of IATF standards (a plus).
