Accounting Professional for Luxury Hospitality

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team at Accor Hotels. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures, as well as experience in hospitality operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Ownership Reporting – P&L, Cashflow and other adhoc requests
  2. Lender Reporting – Covenant reporting
  3. Statutory reporting – Working with external accountants if required
  4. Year end audit requirements – lead liaison with external auditors
  5. Internal audit – self-assessment and ensuring compliance with requirements
  6. Finance Lead for Renovation
  7. Support Director of Finance on adhoc analysis for Ownership
  8. Balance sheet reconciliations and consolidation
  9. Overall controller for CAPEX / FF&E
  10. Manage key relationships and processes for the ongoing capital projects
  11. Review, update and maintain fixed asset register
  12. Key part of the finance team for the budgeting process
  13. Key finance person responsible for leases and other 3rd party arrangements
  14. Review all Standard Operating Procedures and roll out training across the hotel
  15. Maintain insurance records and track ongoing claims
  16. Review, update and maintain inter-company account schedules
  17. Support Director of Finance in Adhoc project requests

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
  2. ACA, CIMA or ACCA certification
  3. 5+ years of experience in accounting
  4. Strong understanding of hospitality accounting principles and procedures
  5. Experience with Opera, SUN, Silverware, and other common hotel software is desirable.
  6. Advanced Excel Skills
  7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
