We are seeking a talented and dynamic Content & Media Relations Specialist to join our ATR Media team. As a key member of our Communications team, you will play a vital role in shaping ATR's corporate messaging and managing our external communications and media relations.
Key Responsibilities- Crafting impactful content in English and French for all platforms, including news articles, press releases, social media posts, and briefing documents for ATR's executives.
- Managing media inquiries and building relationships with journalists and media outlets.
- Ensuring the consistency of messaging across the Communications team through regular updates of the 'ATR Hymnsheet', translations, and proofreading.
- Coordinating media interviews and supporting the creation of strong relationships with journalists and media outlets.
- Master's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Content Producer, Press Officer, Public Relations Officer, or similar role.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English and French, with exceptional attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to craft persuasive and engaging messages.
- Experience in media relations, including managing media inquiries and building relationships with journalists.
- Knowledge of aviation media landscape and current trends in journalism.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficient in using media monitoring tools and PR software.
