About the Job

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Care Assistant to join our team at ADMR in La Chapelle Heulin. As a Home Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our clients with their daily needs, promoting their independence, and enhancing their overall quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with personal care activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide mobility support, including transfers and assistance with walking
  • Prepare and serve meals, as well as assist with grocery shopping
  • Accompany clients on outings and engage in social activities to promote social interaction and stimulation
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe and comfortable living environment

Requirements

  • Experience working in the healthcare or social services sector, preferably with a focus on home care or support work
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, walking, and lifting
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
