Rely: Bridging the Gap
In November 2023, John Cockerill and Technip Energies unveiled Rely, a unique provider of integrated and competitive green hydrogen solutions. Rely is focused on the industrial and utility-scale project market, aiming for sales exceeding one billion euros by 2030.
Headquartered in Brussels, Rely is 60% owned by Technip Energies and 40% by John Cockerill, led by Damien Eyriès of Technip Energies as CEO and Jean Jouet of John Cockerill as CTO. The new company will leverage the expertise of over 200 hydrogen specialists from the outset.
Innovation is pivotal in overcoming cost barriers and fostering rapid growth in Rely's green hydrogen markets. A unique research and development platform will facilitate technological advancements, new products, and enhanced project profitability in the green hydrogen and power-to-X sectors.
Your Role:
As part of your training at IFP School, we offer an apprenticeship within the Rely Tendering & Estimation department. You will engage in the green hydrogen value chain, focusing on international project costing.
As an estimating engineer, your responsibilities will include:
- Contributing to the development of bid costs, encompassing service hours, material, and construction expenses.
- Assisting in the review of these estimates and presentations with senior management.
- Enhancing the benchmarking database.
- Providing feedback on previous projects.
- Developing and updating departmental tools to boost productivity through improved automation.
Candidate Profile:
- Currently enrolled as an engineering student at IFP School, preferably in the 'Energy and Markets' or 'Energy and Processes' programs.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable, with strong communication skills and comfort in a multicultural setting.
- Proficient in Excel; knowledge of PBI is advantageous.
- Fluent in English.
