We are currently seeking a Regulatory Compliance Advisor (m/f/d) to be part of our team in Paris.
Your Role

This team is committed to ensuring that all operational practices, policies, and business activities across our French and other European branches adhere to applicable legal and regulatory standards.

Your Contributions

Reporting to the Regional Head of Legal & Compliance Europe South, you will spearhead the execution, upkeep, and enhancement of compliance programs and protocols at global, regional, and local levels. You will also tailor global procedures to meet regional and local needs and design specific local protocols as necessary. Your responsibilities will include coordinating compliance assessments and audits, monitoring emerging issues, and developing action plans in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and sustain Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and internal control policies in line with regulatory standards for France.
- Provide expert guidance to business units in France and Spain, and potentially other European nations, on compliance issues, including AML regulations and best practices for internal controls.
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of compliance programs within the region, in collaboration with the Regional Head of L&C Europe South and AGCS Global Compliance. Monitor emerging issues and devise action plans with relevant stakeholders.
- Serve as the primary contact for compliance audit requests within the Mediterranean Region. Manage compliance investigations and support compliance reviews conducted on entities in the region. Ensure that inquiries related to compliance reviews are addressed effectively and assist the business in understanding compliance program requirements.

- Prepare and maintain compliance program reports for the region, in coordination with the Regional Head of L&C Europe South and AGCS Global Compliance.

- Promote a culture of compliance as a best practice within the organization, ensuring that Allianz recognizes and supports the critical role of compliance.

- Contribute to the monitoring of legal and regulatory changes, ensuring timely implementation to meet new requirements, providing updates to Global Compliance, and supporting other functions in Regulatory Legal Compliance Management and Baselining.

What You Bring:

- A degree in law, preferably with a focus on Compliance.
- Proficiency in English, with business fluency.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial insurance or a law firm, with expertise in the relevant areas of responsibility.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to interpret and apply complex regulatory requirements.
- Initiative and the ability to resolve issues independently.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with experience in training preferred.
- A client-oriented mindset and the ability to manage a diverse range of tasks and responsibilities effectively.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
