Our client, a prominent entity in the maritime and oil & gas sectors, is seeking a Lead Method Foundation Subsea / Piles professional. This role involves overseeing critical aspects of a gas project, focusing on installation methodologies and project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and determine the appropriate installation methodologies in alignment with the assigned Scope of Work.
- Develop comprehensive work procedures and detailed task plans that adhere to project requirements, health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards, as well as client quality expectations.
- Prepare necessary installation documentation while considering the timeline for deliverable submissions to the client, ensuring effective follow-up on client feedback and document approvals.
- Identify portions of the installation scope that require subcontracting and define the subcontractor's responsibilities.
- Compile a list of equipment essential for the assigned activities.
- Collaborate closely with the project procurement manager to solicit tenders and assess subcontractor and supplier proposals.
- Engage in the selection process for subcontractors and suppliers, validating their technical submissions.
- Formulate the schedule for equipment supply and resource allocation, along with an overall activity timeline.
- Conduct technical reviews of procedures, incorporating feedback from the project and corporate technical teams.
- Coordinate with the operations engineer responsible for the scope's performance, managing interfaces to ensure operational feasibility as per established procedures.
- Contribute to the lessons learned process.
- Expertise in drilling, piling, and subsea installation methods.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Background in maritime construction and the offshore industry.
- Proficient in both written and spoken English.
- Familiarity with safety regulations.
- Proficient in Orcaflex and AutoCAD.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and MS Project.
