Key Responsibilities- Understand, collect, and analyze client needs
- Lead and manage a team
- Ensure and direct design review meetings associated with a project to coordinate activities
- Ensure adherence to project planning, costs, and quality of deliverables
- Develop and validate feasibility studies for design-related projects or programs
- Write and validate design definition documents, required by clients (analysis, maintenance, mass calculation, etc.)
- Evaluate and validate new solutions and techniques to achieve mass, cost, fabrication, and maintenance gains
- Design, define, and develop new products or processes, or improve existing ones
- Monitor production (validation concessions)
- Alert management of any deviations from contractual obligations
- Establish and control performance indicators
- Capture project experiences and lessons learned in a formalized manner (Retex)
- Provide periodic reporting of design activities to management and the group
- Provide technical assistance to method, quality, and other services as needed
- Higher education degree, Generalist or Mechanical Engineer
- Successful experience in project management in an industrial aerospace context
- Good knowledge of mechanical design, with experience on a mechanism
- Knowledge of mechanical dimensioning and tolerancing
- Good internal and external communication skills
- Professional English
- CATIA / 3D experience
