Dynamic Positioning Assurance Engineer

IOTA GROUP is seeking a highly skilled DP Assurance Engineer to join our team in Paris Area.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance in the area of DP assurance for critical offshore marine operations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Reviewing vessels' DP documentation and standards against Company rules
- Issuing recommendations for corrective actions and/or improvements
- Providing technical support and arguments for projects to have marine contractors implement recommendations
- Conducting call for tender technical analysis and issuing recommendations for contractor selection
- Providing ad-hoc marine advice and consultancy as required
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience as Master or Chief Engineer on a DP offshore support vessel/asset, with fluent English language skills.
Additionally, the candidate should hold or have held Merchant Marine Master or Chief Engineer certification (unlimited tonnage/power) and have a minimum of 5 years of shore-based experience in an industry-leading marine consultancy company with a proven track record of leading DP proving trials on complex vessels.
Hold or have held OVID accreditation will be considered an advantage.
