We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Project Manager to oversee and lead electrical engineering projects in the offshore wind sector.
This is a contract position for a duration of 12 months, offering an attractive day rate.
Position OverviewAs an Electrical Engineering Project Manager, you will be responsible for the management and delivery of electrical engineering packages within the offshore wind sector.
This role requires a strategic thinker with proven ability to manage complex projects from inception to completion.
Your primary goal will be to ensure all electrical components of our offshore wind projects are engineered, procured, and implemented efficiently, within budget, and to the highest standards of safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of electrical engineering packages for offshore wind projects.
- Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams including design, procurement, and construction to achieve project milestones.
- Manage project risks, including identification, assessment, and implementation of mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards pertaining to offshore wind energy.
- Oversee budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation to ensure project objectives are met.
- Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and team members.
A minimum of 2-4 years of direct experience in the wind energy sector, specifically in electrical engineering for offshore wind projects.
A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Demonstrated project management skills with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
Strong leadership capabilities and experience in managing multidisciplinary teams.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
LocationThis position is based in Port-La Nouvelle, offering a fantastic opportunity to work in one of the most dynamic regions for offshore wind development in Europe.
CompensationThe selected candidate will be offered a competitive day rate of €700.
Contract DurationThis is a 12-month contract position with potential for extension based on project needs and individual performance.
