As an ESG Disclosure Specialist, you'll work closely with business and finance stakeholders to ensure that HSBC's external ESG disclosures are fair, balanced, understandable, and meet disclosure requirements.
This role offers a unique opportunity to work in an area of growing interest to regulators, investors, and the wider external market.
Your Key Responsibilities- Understand, manage, and regularly update senior management on the disclosure requirements of all ESG reporting regimes, including EU Taxonomy, EBA Pillar 3, and other relevant ESG requirements.
- Provide support to address data challenges with Data Architecture Office and Finance Change Delivery teams.
- Analyse and operationalize the delivery of upcoming new regulations.
- Support and consult with key stakeholders in HSBC and Group.
- Support the production of external ESG disclosures for HSBC and other entities, ensuring robust governance and sign-off prior to publication.
- Support the wider HSBC climate strategy and implications for HSBC Continental Europe.
- Develop the verification and assurance process to ensure the quality of external reporting.
