Position Overview:

Norgine is seeking a dedicated Quality Control Analyst to enhance our EU Testing team. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure that our products meet the analytical standards established in the Marketing Authorization, technical documentation, or specifications, while adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting physical and chemical evaluations of finished products in accordance with established monographs, ensuring compliance with quality and safety protocols, and optimizing both processes and equipment to adhere to timelines.
  • Analyzing results from tests and compiling comprehensive reports.
  • Maintaining and updating quality control documentation.
  • Proposing modifications and enhancements in line with GMP and current regulatory requirements.
  • Carrying out preliminary investigations in the event of discrepancies.
  • Validating analytical outcomes.
  • Participating in the advancement of laboratory GMP practices and the organizational structure.
  • Promoting a safe and efficient working environment within the Quality Control department.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline.
  • Experience in Quality Control is essential.
  • Solid theoretical foundation in chemistry.
  • Understanding of GMP standards within a Quality Control setting.
  • Familiarity with various control methodologies.
  • Detail-oriented with a systematic approach.
  • Dependable, self-sufficient, and possessing strong communication abilities.
  • Capability to take initiative and assess situations effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Experience with laboratory instrumentation software.
  • Able to collaborate effectively within a team while adhering to safety regulations.
