Job Summary
The Panel is seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Accountant to join their global finance team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing the global audit process, ensuring timely and efficient completion. You will serve as the primary contact for external auditors, coordinating across teams to resolve queries and provide support in the preparation of financial statements.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate global audit processes within agreed timelines.
- Manage audit queries, liaising with both headquarters and country office finance teams to ensure swift resolution.
- Assist in preparing group cashflow forecasts and support going concern assessments.
- Prepare and consolidate financial statements for multiple entities.
- Provide weekly audit updates to senior finance leadership.
- Assist in statutory filings and compliance with regulatory bodies.
- Collaborate with banking institutions to ensure bank confirmations are returned promptly.
Requirements
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or CPA qualified.
- At least 3 years in an audit senior or manager role.
- Advanced Excel skills, strong communication, and excellent organizational ability.
- Experience working in an international organization or INGO is highly desirable.
