Job Title: Financial Accountant
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant to join our team at Daher. As a Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for processing and checking financial data, preparing income statements and balance sheets, and ensuring compliance with all legal obligations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process equity financing accounting entries, including fixed assets, depreciation, provisions, write-downs, loans, borrowings, acquisitions & disposals of securities, etc.
- Check the accuracy of debt financing accounting entries and report potential anomalies.
- Participate in monthly reporting and budget work.
- Draw up and submit legal declarations.
- Process consolidation packages to enable the Group to draw up the consolidated financial statements.
- Prepare permanent files, balance sheets, income statements, and tax returns in conjunction with the accounting manager.
- Participate in compliance projects and projects to optimize working methods (tools, organizations, processes).
- Contribute to maintaining the relationship with the statutory auditors for certification of the corporate accounts.
- Chase customers and/or carry out debt collection: prepare legal files in the context of litigation.
- Analyze and justify customer and supplier accounts.
- Manage customer quality assurance.
- For team experts: control the quality and compliance of accounts, transactions, and reconciliations; coordinate the accountants and be their technical expert; establish volumetric and anomaly indicators and activity dashboards.
Requirements:
- Hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Have a perfect knowledge of accounting standards.
- Be proficient in office and accounting software (e.g. Excel, SAP).
- Have a strong team spirit and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Be autonomous and rigorous.
