Linamar Saint-Chamond is a state-of-the-art manufacturing site dedicated to supplying high-end automotive equipment manufacturers. We are currently expanding our operations to meet the demanding production needs of our clients, including PSA, VOLVO, SCANIA, and others.
In the context of large-scale projects, our Saint-Chamond site (with 300 employees) is experiencing rapid growth, which requires our Quality Team to restructure and recruit new talent, including a:
Quality Technician (H/F) in a Permanent Position
As a Quality Technician, you will be responsible for three main missions:
Mission 1: Quality Non-Conformity Detection and Analysis
- Detect and analyze quality non-conformities and incidents
- Manage daily non-conforming parts zones
- Treat internal NCs in a QRQC approach
- Record quality indicator data (rebuts/retouches)
- Supervise the realization of sorting and retouching operations
- Ensure the follow-up of QRQC action plans
- Stop production in case of drift, alert
Mission 2: Quality Tool Deployment
- Deploy quality tools to production teams
Mission 3: Quality Support to Production
- Provide quality support to production
- Update production control software, in collaboration with technicians
- Sustain production in the use of SPC (interpretation, reactions)
- Issue requests for derogations/retouches, document, and follow up
- Perform prison entries/outputs for in-process and finished products
- Define TRI ranges
- Conduct audits (LPA, processes, 8D clients)
- Perform recalls (training) on control means usage
- Participate in production follow-up meetings (daily or weekly) and lead quality actions
- Ensure that production has the required measurement means
- Ensure internal non-conforming part traceability
You hold a Bac+2 degree with a minimum of 3 years of experience in Automotive Quality or Mechanical Industry. As a hands-on professional, you drive quality on your lines, relying on your experience in the automotive sector or in a similarly demanding industry. You are rigorous, organized, dynamic, and have a sense of priorities. You have a strong analytical capacity and problem-solving skills. You are a good communicator and a driving force for performance and continuous improvement.
Working hours and organization: 39 hours or 40 hours depending on cycles (daytime work or alternating teams of 2*8 hours)
Remuneration according to profile, including overtime and performance-based bonuses
