Role Overview:
As the Project Scheduling Lead, you will be responsible for developing and overseeing the timeline and schedule of the Customer Project, outlining all dependencies, critical paths, risks, and challenges. You will facilitate clear communication during project meetings and spearhead recovery actions when necessary.
Project Responsibilities:
- Establish, manage, and take ownership of the Master Project Schedule to ensure alignment of product and process, timely delivery of prototypes, and initiation of production for our automotive OEM clients.
- Gather, coordinate, and critically assess all detailed planning from various ACC functions to uphold the overall integrity and neutrality regarding the achievement of key milestones.
- Organize and conduct planning workshops to thoroughly examine and synchronize detailed planning for each phase, focusing on key interfaces, KPIs, risks, and opportunities related to those interfaces.
- Develop, manage, and maintain the Project Schedule (levels 1 to 3) that details all dependencies, critical paths, risks, and issues using ACC's planning tools (e.g., MS Project).
- Oversee the management of prototype quantities (A, B, C, D samples) in collaboration with external teams (customers) and internal teams (engineering, production).
- Ensure transparent reporting by generating weekly planning dashboards and reports, and leading regular planning reviews (e.g., bi-weekly).
- Act as the primary Planning contact to guarantee successful program delivery.
- Formulate scenario-based planning proposals to support senior management decision-making.
- Maintain planning deliverables and timelines within product lifecycle software and other necessary systems within ACC.
- Provide planning expertise to internal and external teams in forums such as escalation reviews, PSTs, and gateway reviews.
- Monitor all planning risks and opportunities throughout the project lifecycle.
Planning Function:
- Implement ACC planning methodologies and standards, contributing to their development and maintenance through lessons learned.
- Utilize On-Time Delivery performance metrics to conduct monthly detailed analyses and recommend best practices and lessons learned.
- Assist in the formulation of the Customer Projects Planning Strategy.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Experience in program management and planning, ensuring product and process alignment within tight timelines, preferably in the automotive or similar manufacturing sectors.
- Demonstrated understanding of planning methodologies, program monitoring and control, and risk management.
- Familiarity with planning tools (Microsoft Project, Primavera, etc.).
- Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Experience in constructing dashboards and Key Performance Indicators (Power BI).
Experience: 3-10 years in planning within the automotive, battery, or relevant industries.
Qualifications: Master’s degree in a relevant field.
Languages: Proficient in English and French.
