Database Administrator Oracle

As an Oracle Database Administrator, you will be responsible for designing, operating, and automating our DB stack on test and production platforms. This includes assisting the database operations team in implementing, configuring, securing, maintaining, and performance tuning/monitoring of the database tier.
You will partner closely with cross-functional teams, including Development, Product, DevOps, and Architecture, to ensure the delivery of our applications at the highest level of quality and performance.
Key responsibilities include:
* Ensuring the availability and performance of existing and future enterprise applications using Oracle, MySQL, and other emerging database technologies.
* Contributing to the definition of SLAs/OLAs and driving the enforcement and definition of operational requirements/NFR requirements in collaboration with application owners and middleware organizations.
* Building and ensuring the usage of monitoring tools to find problems, raise alerts, and ensure that we meet our SLAs/OLAs.
* Incident response, including targeting auto-recovery, ensuring first full recovery, and analysing the root-cause of issues.
* Proactive incident management in synchronization with frontline services and Incident Response Team.
* Assisting developers in debugging application and performance issues.
* Documenting configuration processes and policies.
* Operating the platform and helping to define new operation models.

* Oracle: Confirmed Level
* Agile: Basic Level
* Ansible: Basic Level
* Git: Advanced Level
* MySQL: Confirmed Level
