Join Serco, a leading Space Services Provider, in their mission to advance Europe's space capabilities. We are seeking a highly skilled Ground Segment Engineer to support the design and development of Ground segment evolutions, including contributions to the procurement and follow-up of EUSA' developments, design documentation, and participation in ground segment evolutions development reviews.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the design and development of Ground segment evolutions, including contributions to the procurement and follow-up of EUSA' developments.
- Contribute to the design documentation, including DDF and functional chains.
- Participate in ground segment evolutions development reviews and CCBs relevant to the tasks under responsibility.
- Manage requirements in DOORS and provide requirements justifications files.
- Interface with industrial and/or institutional players and service operators for aspects related to operability improvements to be injected in future industrial contract amendments.
- Analyze CR/CCN relevant to ground segment and support CCBs.
- Support the qualification/acceptance reviews of new releases of the Ground Segment up to services roll-out.
- Define and monitor onsite-ground segment equipment deployment.
- Define and monitor onsite ground segment level 1 maintenance.
- Master's degree in Space Engineering.
- From 2 to 10 years of relevant experience in ground segment design and development in the space industry.
- Experience in GNSS, particularly on Galileo and EGNOS, is a strong asset.
- Experience with COMSEC items and PRS information is a strong asset.
- Experience with DOORS is a plus.
- Availability to go on missions.
- Comfortable with working in a diverse and multinational team environment.
- Proficient in the English language, both written and spoken.
- Knowledge of another EU member state language is an asset.
- Candidates must be eligible to work in the EU.
- Candidates must be eligible to obtain a EU Security Clearance.
