Ground Segment Development Manager

Constellation Technologies & Operations is a rapidly growing company that's revolutionizing satellite-based internet connectivity. As a Senior Ground Segment Engineer, you'll play a critical role in driving the development, integration, and validation of our ground segment, which includes hardware and software that enables us to commission, operate, and decommission our satellites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define the overall architecture of the Ground Segment, including satellite gateways, Wide Area Network, IT and security infrastructure, System Control Centre, and 5G Core network.
- Establish hardware and software specifications for the different subsystems of the Ground Segment and their related interconnections.
- Manage the integration and test process, ensuring that the Ground Segment meets the requirements of the programme in terms of schedule, quality, and cost.
- Work with procurement managers to identify partners and suppliers for the provision of the Ground Segment subsystems.
- Collaborate with business development managers to define solutions for integration with terrestrial mobile operators.
Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years of industry experience in the development of ground network architecture for large SATCOM systems.
- Strong knowledge of ground network design, devices, appliances, architecture, protocols, and topology.
- Experience in leading a software development team following a DevOps process in Agile methodology.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
