Claims Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Claims Specialist to join our growing team in Reims. As part of our dedicated claims management organization, you will play a crucial role in handling a diverse range of insurance claims, ensuring timely and efficient resolution for both insured parties and third parties.

Your Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of material and bodily injury claims from inception to closure, including complex legal cases.
• Conduct thorough assessments of victims' losses, considering applicable legal frameworks and industry best practices.
• Collaborate effectively with external stakeholders such as experts, medical professionals, and legal counsel to develop and execute strategic claim resolutions.
• Process payments promptly and accurately within established service level agreements.
• Pursue both material and bodily injury recoveries, demonstrating strong negotiation skills and attention to detail.
• Provide exceptional support and guidance to insured parties throughout the claims process, fostering strong client relationships.
• Participate actively in claims review meetings and departmental projects, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Your Profile

• Hold a Bachelor's degree in Law with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the insurance industry.
• Possess a comprehensive understanding of technical and legal aspects related to DAB claims management, including IRSI, bodily injury handling, and property damage claim regulations. Knowledge of machinery breakdown claims would be an asset.
• Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build rapport with clients and collaborate effectively within a team environment.
• Exhibit adaptability, a client-centric approach, and active listening skills to ensure comprehensive understanding of client needs.
• Maintain meticulous attention to detail and possess strong written communication skills for clear and concise documentation.
