You will also be responsible for conducting site inspections, planning events from start to finish, and ensuring seamless execution. Effective communication and collaboration with hotel operations departments are crucial to your success.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication, sales, and customer service skills, as well as the ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactively find opportunities for business growth by creating and maintaining a customer database.
- Achieve personal sales targets by converting leads into business opportunities.
- Understand client needs and provide tailored proposals to meet their requirements.
- Conduct event space site inspections and outline our unique selling points to the client.
- Plan events successfully from beginning to end using the hotel's event management system.
- Handle group movements in the hotel with attentive care.
- Ensure well-executed events that exceed customers' expectations.
- Communicate effectively and work closely with all concerned operations departments in the hotel.
- Handle guest and employee enquiries in a courteous and efficient manner, reporting complaints or problems.
- Ensure adherence to laws, regulations, and hotel policies.
- Maintain positive guest and colleague interactions with good working relationships.
