This position is pivotal in ensuring compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and enhancing our financial consolidation practices.
As a key member of the Consolidation Department, which includes around 60 entities, your expertise will be vital in providing insights on complex accounting issues, facilitating the integration of new accounting standards, and elevating the quality of financial reporting across the organization.
Key Responsibilities: 1. IFRS Compliance:- Analyze and implement IFRS standards to guarantee precise and uniform financial reporting across the organization.
- Formulate and uphold our accounting policies, ensuring they align with IFRS and cater to our business needs.
- Remain informed about updates to IFRS standards and evaluate their implications on the financial statements and consolidation processes.
- Collaborate with accounting teams to resolve intricate accounting challenges, providing expert guidance and recommendations.
- Assist in the consolidation process, offering technical insights on specific transactions and reviewing key accounting decisions.
- Ensure proper treatment of complex and significant transactions.
- Document the accounting treatment of complex areas, including analysis and relevant literature.
- Assess the potential impacts of IFRS changes on the organization and implement necessary adjustments.
- Review financial reports for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with external auditors to streamline the annual audit process.
- Present financial statements to the audit committee.
- Validate compliance of financial documentation with IFRS.
- Engage in discussions with regulatory authorities.
- Lead initiatives related to the adoption of new IFRS standards, coordinating cross-functional teams and managing timelines and deliverables.
- Conduct assessments to evaluate the impact of new accounting standards on financial reporting processes and develop training materials as needed.
- Participate in monitoring changes in IFRS standards.
- Improve the quality and transparency of financial reporting through the development of accounting policies and internal controls aligned with IFRS principles.
- Work with external auditors to facilitate the audit process and address any inquiries.

- You possess a deep understanding of IFRS standards and the ability to navigate complex financial scenarios, ensuring accuracy in reporting.
