Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Steward to join our team at the Lesaffre Institute of Science and Technology (LIST). The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our central Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS), ensuring the accuracy and integrity of data within the system.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain LIMS database, including data entry, verification, and cleaning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data models and ensure proper data input and maintenance.
- Train and support a community of end-users.
- Produce monthly key performance indicators (KPIs) related to LIMS usage.
- Manage relationships with the LIMS provider and identify opportunities for system evolution.
- Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in a similar role.
- Proven experience working with LIMS systems.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in industrial fermentation applications.
- Knowledge of knowledge graphs modeling.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance, specifically regarding data governance and laboratory operations.
