Position Overview
The primary responsibilities include:
- Collecting and analyzing engine documentation to ensure compliance with airworthiness standards and lease agreements.
- Securing comprehensive documentation as stipulated by leasing contracts.
- Preparing detailed records for subsequent operators or for integration into Continuing Airworthiness Management Organization (CAMO).
- Organizing and updating records for delivery in line with lease contract specifications.
- Monitoring and analyzing trends from shop visits.
Key Responsibilities
Recovery Process:
- Gather and assess engine documentation as outlined in the lease agreement.
- Conduct technical record evaluations during both Pre-recovery and Recovery stages.
- Compile Pre-recovery Reports and Deviation Item Lists in accordance with return conditions.
- Assist Operations Management in drafting commitment letters during Recovery phases.
- Initiate and maintain the Aircraft Status Report (ASR) file.
- Update statuses in Excel or the AMASIS database.
Work Order Technical Definition:
- Review contractual delivery conditions and outstanding items from Recovery to determine necessary work (AD, LLP, SB, MPD tasks, OEM tasks) for Work package creation.
- Generate work orders in the AMASIS database or Excel for Airbus CAMO.
- Ensure continuous follow-up and updates of the Work package throughout the Working Party / Shop Visit.
Working Party / Shop Visit Analysis:
- Evaluate the conformity of work performed by the Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) or Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) against the latest Work package.
- Collect all required documentation (sign-offs, component certificates, release certificates, etc.) for ASR file updates.
- Update the AMASIS database and finalize the work order or revise the Excel file.
Delivery Process:
- Analyze, compile, and verify the validity of certificates and approvals provided by the MRO.
- Finalize the ASR file and present it to the customer.
- Assist the customer with engine record presentations during acceptance phases.
- Address any discrepancies in the customer’s engine records.
Technical Follow-up:
- Initialize engine data in AMASIS.
- Monitor compliance with CN and OEM recommendations.
- Track Maintenance Schedule (MS) and Kardex.
- Prepare monthly reports.
- Develop Maintenance and Shop Visit Work packages.
- Follow up and analyze work packages and shop visits post-working party.
Other Responsibilities:
- Ensure ongoing airworthiness compliance for operators.
- Initiate and update trend monitoring and oil consumption records.
- Conduct technical surveys and generate associated Audit Reports.
- Update Geographic Information System (GIS) data.
- Prepare Part Robbery Statements.
- Oversee airworthiness documentation.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience.
- Degree in Aeronautical Engineering (BAC + 5) or Part 66 license with recognized training (BAC + 3) along with 5 additional years of experience in continuing airworthiness and/or maintenance.
- Completion of regulatory training as outlined in the Continuing Airworthiness Management Exposition (CAME) and Maintenance Organization Exposition (MOE).
- Proven experience in engine transaction processes, shop visits, CAMO activities, and trend monitoring.
