Position Overview
Sabena Technics Blagnac, a subsidiary of the Sabena Technics Group, is a prominent player in the aviation sector, employing a skilled workforce of 160 professionals across various global locations. Our organization is recognized for its comprehensive approvals, including Part 21 J & G, Part CAMO, and Part 145, facilitating a wide range of services throughout the lifecycle of civil aircraft and helicopters.
To bolster our growth, we are seeking an Engine Engineering & Airworthiness Management Specialist .
Key Responsibilities
As a vital member of our Engineering and Airworthiness team, you will engage in a variety of technical tasks focused on ensuring the airworthiness and asset management of aircraft engines and APU fleets. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing the ongoing airworthiness of engine and APU fleets.
- Developing detailed workscopes for maintenance and inspections.
- Analyzing shop visit reports to ensure compliance and performance.
- Reviewing documentation from manufacturers and regulatory authorities.
- Conducting engine health monitoring and analytical assessments.
- Presenting engine and APU status to national authorities during airworthiness reviews.
- Providing technical support during engine transactions, ensuring adherence to airworthiness and leasing agreements.
Candidate Profile
We are looking for a qualified individual with the following skills and experience:
- Expertise in commercial aircraft engines, particularly within MRO or airline engineering departments.
- Proficient knowledge of turbo prop and jet engine systems.
- Familiarity with Part CAMO and Part 145 regulations.
- Experience with table inspections during maintenance visits is advantageous.
- Practical knowledge of Maintenance Information Systems (MIS) is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in a multicultural team environment.
- Proficiency in English is essential.
- Willingness to travel occasionally as required.
