The Detector & Electronics Group
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled X-ray Detector Engineer to join our dedicated team. The Detector & Electronics Group plays a crucial role in developing and supporting X-ray detectors and control electronics for experimental stations and the accelerator complex.
Job Responsibilities- Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and repair services for X-ray detectors.
- Contribute to the production of high-quality X-ray detectors.
- Perform physical characterizations and testing of detector performance.
- Design, build, and modify X-ray detectors based on specific experimental requirements.
- Participate in research and development projects related to new detector technologies.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
- Previous experience as an engineer assistant or technician in a research laboratory setting.
- Solid understanding of physical measurement techniques and data analysis.
- Proficiency in CAD software for design and modeling.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Fluent English language proficiency.
