The Detector & Electronics Group

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled X-ray Detector Engineer to join our dedicated team. The Detector & Electronics Group plays a crucial role in developing and supporting X-ray detectors and control electronics for experimental stations and the accelerator complex.

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and repair services for X-ray detectors.
  • Contribute to the production of high-quality X-ray detectors.
  • Perform physical characterizations and testing of detector performance.
  • Design, build, and modify X-ray detectors based on specific experimental requirements.
  • Participate in research and development projects related to new detector technologies.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
  • Previous experience as an engineer assistant or technician in a research laboratory setting.
  • Solid understanding of physical measurement techniques and data analysis.
  • Proficiency in CAD software for design and modeling.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Fluent English language proficiency.
