About This Role
As a Property Damage Claims Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing and resolving claims within the Specialty Property Damage Claims Service. Your expertise in insurance law, technical regulations, and litigation will be essential in ensuring fair and efficient claim handling.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and settle a wide range of property damage claims, including fire, theft, water damage, and weather-related events, for corporate and government multi-risk contracts.
- Manage complex claims for Key Accounts, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless resolution.
- Apply contractual, technical, and legal rules to each claim, identifying potential recourse and fraud.
- Contribute to the profitability of the Property Damage portfolio by ensuring efficient and cost-effective claim management.
- Maintain high service quality standards and build strong relationships with clients.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proficiency in insurance law and regulations governing property damage claims.
- In-depth understanding of technical and conventional rules related to property damage insurance.
- Legal knowledge for autonomous management of complex litigation claims.
- Strong analytical and synthesis skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent written communication skills and the ability to navigate various software environments.
- Customer-focused approach with strong interpersonal skills, including active listening, persuasion, and negotiation abilities.
