General Installation Design Engineer

EFINOR INGENIERIE& PROCESS, a subsidiary of the EFINOR Group, is a design office specializing in mechanical engineering, general installation and technology integration, offering turnkey solutions.

As part of its activities, EFINOR INGENIERIE& PROCESS is seeking a skilled Design Engineer in General Installation (Carpentry - Boilermaking - Piping) to join our team.

Your Role:

  • Participate in responding to calls for tenders specific to general installation projects, including sheet metal work, piping, boiler and pressure equipment, supports, structures, and metal frameworks.
  • Research and propose innovative solutions to best meet the requirements of each tender.
  • Engage with customers during launch meetings to ensure clear project understanding.
  • Oversee project execution in accordance with cost estimates and industry standards.
  • Conduct on-site surveys as required to gather necessary information.
  • Supervise and actively participate in the realization of 3D design projects using relevant software.
  • Integrate technological equipment into projects seamlessly.
  • Ensure accurate production of drawings and bills of materials.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of regulatory and normative requirements for welded and bolted constructions.
  • Lead and mentor a team of 3 engineers, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

Your Profile:

  • Hold a 5-year degree in mechanical engineering or an equivalent qualification.
  • Possess at least 3 years of experience as an engineer in a Design Office, New Works Office, or similar role.
  • Demonstrate proficiency with SolidWorks or Autodesk software (Inventor, Autocad Plant3D).
  • Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
  • Embrace a pragmatic approach with a genuine interest in hands-on work.
  • Value autonomy and freedom of action to drive project success.
  • Possess a strong understanding of industry standards and best practices.
  • Demonstrate practical industrial skills and experience.
