Portfolio Analyst Intern

Mileway Limited is seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Portfolio Analyst Intern to join our Paris team. As a key member of our young and dynamic team, you will collaborate closely with colleagues from around the world and work alongside our Lyon and Amsterdam offices.
This is an exceptional opportunity to grow your role as you gain professional experience. Guided by experienced colleagues, you will conduct in-depth analyses and develop the market knowledge necessary to drive our business forward. You will work with our international team to enhance our premium asset portfolio, using top-notch reporting tools.
As a Portfolio Analyst, you will have responsibilities at both the French and international levels, supporting our development through local market analyses. You will also closely collaborate with our Strategy, Planning, and Analysis (SP&A) team in Finance, Planning, and Analysis (FP&A), either on specific projects or for longer periods.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Provide analytical support to the Portfolio Manager, Country Director, and Asset Management team on NOI forecasts for stabilized assets and value creation opportunities
- Conduct in-depth analysis of assets and the portfolio (rental, Capex, NOI, etc.) and prepare high-quality reports on past, current, and projected performance
- Collaborate with the portfolio management and FP&A team in Amsterdam, providing country-specific data for regular and ad hoc reports
- Offer comprehensive support in analyzing asset retention/sale, collaborating on asset business plans and the annual budget
- Analyze and identify asset-specific risks
- Develop a strong commercial understanding of assets and the market
- Learn to use portfolio performance management and tracking systems (Yardi, Tableau, Excel, banking systems, etc.) and assist in optimizing systems and processes
Your Skills and Qualifications
- Less than two years of experience in a comparable field, preferably in private equity or asset management with a real estate focus
- Demonstrated strong calculation and analytical skills, ability to work with significant and complex data (Excel)
- Strong academic background (Master 2 or Grande Ecole) in a relevant field such as finance or real estate
- Business acumen and excellent communication skills. Ability to understand and explain numbers to others
- Effective in a fast-paced environment. Tight deadlines motivate you, and you work efficiently
- Strong team player. Ability to build relationships with individuals from various backgrounds in a dynamic environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills. Ability to resolve issues with the tenacity to achieve goals
- Linguistic skills. Fluent in French and proficient in English, as you will work daily with our Amsterdam SP&A and FP&A teams
- Data-savvy. Comfortable digitizing and tracking new data seamlessly
