About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Aircraft Physical Inspector to join our team in Blagnac, France. As a key member of our airworthiness and asset management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the physical status of aircraft meets airworthiness requirements and contractual conditions.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct technical expertise checks on aircraft airframes, cabins, and engines to ensure compliance with airworthiness requirements and contractual conditions.
- Establish lists of deviations and follow up on corrections performed by MRO contractors.
- Represent the customer's interests in working parties, collaborating with records inspectors and facing different parties (MRO, aircraft owner/operator, airworthiness authorities).
- Support customers in commitment letter issuance and negotiations.
- Monitor the progress of maintenance tasks, validate additional works, challenge MRO contractors, and report to customers on progress, risks, actions, and costs.
- 4+ years of experience as an Aircraft Maintenance Mechanical Engineer (Airbus/ATR/Boeing) with a background in base maintenance and heavy maintenance processes.
- Deep knowledge of aircraft systems and structure, as well as experience with Part CAMO and Part 145 requirements.
- Autonomous with high ability to take decisions, communicate, and work within a team.
- Fluent in English and availability for traveling up to 3 months continuously if required.
