Job Summary

Val d'Oise Habitat, a leading social housing organization, is seeking a highly skilled Contentious Manager to join our team. As a key player in the Val d'Oise region, we are committed to providing high-quality services to our tenants.

Key Responsibilities

  • Dispute Resolution
    • Receive and analyze contentious cases, initiating the appropriate procedure.
    • Monitor the eviction process from assignment to eviction.
    • Participate in internal expulsion commissions.
    • Implement debt recovery actions (engagement and follow-up of forced recovery procedures, signature of agreement protocols, reminders) to recover debts.
    • Manage suretyship procedures and claims for compensation from the state.
    • Monitor probationary periods and close files and archive them.
  • Administrative Management and Tenant and Partner Relations
    • Process incoming and outgoing correspondence, phone calls, and emails.
    • Meet with tenants.
    • Prepare and attend commissions organized by partners (CLIL, CCAPEX…).
    • Maintain relationships with various partners (Justice Commissioners, Lawyers, CAF, Bank of France, Courts, Prefecture, Social Services, Municipalities…).
    • Process and track invoices from partners.
    • Work in transversality with agency services and provide legal vigilance in line with their field of activity.
    • Organize agency permanences.

Requirements

  • Hold a Bac+2 degree in a legal field.
  • Have professional experience in a similar role within a social housing organization or a law firm.
  • Master computer tools.
  • Knowledge of housing regulations is an asset.
  • Knowledge of contentious procedures, contract law, and housing management law is essential.
  • Be rigorous, methodical, and have developed organizational skills.
  • Enjoy working in a team and have good interpersonal skills.
