Position Overview:
We are seeking a Pressure Vessel Engineer F/M to contribute to our operations in Paris, France.
In this role, you will oversee the technical aspects of static equipment, including columns, reactors, tanks, separators, heat exchangers, air coolers, cold boxes, storage tanks, and filters.
Reporting to the Equipment Department within the Design Division, your responsibilities will include:
- Designing and calculating pressure vessels,
- Analyzing technical specifications,
- Preparing specifications (requisitions, specifications, guide drawings) for tenders and orders,
- Conducting technical clarifications, evaluations, and comparisons of supplier proposals,
- Coordinating with vendors through technical meetings and reviewing drawings.
You will engage regularly with various departments (Installation, Process, Heat Exchanges, Materials, Civil) to ensure project success.
Additionally, there may be opportunities for international project travel.
Candidate Profile:
- A degree in Engineering with a focus on Mechanical principles, complemented by initial professional experience in vessel equipment within the oil & gas or industrial sectors.
- Familiarity with pressure vessel calculation software is advantageous.
- Strong organizational, negotiation, and communication skills are essential for success in this role.
- The ability to adapt and thrive in diverse cultural environments is crucial.
- Proficiency in both English and French is required, along with the flexibility to travel domestically and internationally.
