MISSION
The mission of the Site Supervisor Apprentice is to assist in managing the construction site, collaborating closely with the Works Supervisor and various trades. This role is essential in ensuring that construction activities adhere to timelines and commitments.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Team Management
• Facilitate the onboarding process for employees, temporary staff, and subcontractors, ensuring all necessary authorizations are verified.
• Present the construction site, its challenges, risks, and the tasks to be accomplished to the team.
• Organize and plan team missions and work based on site requirements and progress.
• Promote professional development and manage HR processes within the scope of responsibility. - Site Preparation and Setup
• Ensure the availability and consistency of all site administrative documentation (authorizations, installation plans, etc.).
• Define and review construction tasks, acknowledging plans and documentation through site visits.
• Establish the construction schedule and operational procedures with the Works Supervisor.
• Communicate necessary procedures and documentation to the team, ensuring understanding. - Construction Monitoring
• Oversee the setup of construction activities.
• Present the site to the teams, highlighting its challenges and dividing work into manageable tasks.
• Monitor the progress of the construction schedule and perform technical checks during the process. - Quality and Safety Management
• Ensure adherence to guidelines and procedures for individual and collective safety on site.
• Produce reports for management regarding completed works and any encountered difficulties.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Significant experience in a leadership role is preferred. Relevant authorizations may be required based on the position.
JOB ENVIRONMENT
Reporting line: Works Supervisor. Internal relations include Engineering Consultants and Support Departments, while external relations involve subcontractors, clients, and suppliers.
YOUR PROFILE
You are pursuing a BTS TP or a BUT TP/Civil Engineering in a work-study program next year. Curious and motivated, you have an interest in Public Works or Civil Engineering professions. You enjoy outdoor work and wish to join a large group committed to training apprentices in a promising career.
