Job Description

Safran Aircraft Engines is seeking a skilled Database Administrator to join its Hosting/Platforms department within the DSI. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for contributing to the integration and operation of Safran Aircraft Engines' databases (1200 instances).

With a strong background in Oracle technology, as well as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MariaDB, and MongoDB, you will serve as a technical expert and reference for the service. Your expertise will be utilized to administer and operate databases, provide technical support for project integration, and ensure the maintenance of databases in operational condition (MCO) and security (MCS) with a focus on performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the proper treatment of MCO and client satisfaction within your scope
  • Contribute to the management of vulnerabilities
  • Participate in infrastructure evolution projects for databases
  • Contribute to the development of tools to facilitate administration and automate recurring operations
  • Participate in the creation of architecture and exploitation standards, manage technical reference documents
  • Maintain the service catalog within your scope
  • Accompany project integration as a database expert
  • Contribute to the team's skill development (tutoring, training, technological watch)

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a degree in engineering (bac+5) and have at least 5 years of experience in database expertise. You should be a recognized technical expert in database management, with skills in Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MariaDB, and MongoDB. Additionally, you should demonstrate the following personal qualities:
