With a workforce of 153,000 across 54 nations, serving 105 million clients, we have cultivated a vibrant and dynamic community. Our core values emphasize inclusion and diversity, creating a culture of mutual respect among our employees, clients, and the communities we serve. Joining AXA means becoming part of a workplace where you can truly belong, thrive, and expand your potential as you explore new avenues, challenge norms, and support individuals during critical life moments. This is your opportunity to shape the future you envision.
About the Entity
AXA is on a transformative journey towards becoming a sustainable, technology-driven organization, with AXA Group Operations acting as a pivotal force in this evolution.
We lead the charge by initiating and facilitating the transformation of our insurance business model through technological advancements and innovation, ensuring swift and high-quality implementation on a global scale.
Our presence spans 17 countries, supported by dedicated and highly skilled teams. We leverage technology, data, sourcing, security, and investment strategies globally while also achieving synergies and economies of scale when necessary.
At AXA Group Operations, we aspire to excel in three key areas:
- Cutting-edge Data Technology to enhance customer experiences.
- Advanced Procurement & Sourcing to improve efficiency and risk management.
- A High-Performing Global Team to strengthen partnerships with AXA entities.
Job Position Overview
If you are enthusiastic about identifying customer needs, managing feedback, and analyzing market trends, you are in the right place.
As a Product Owner, you will play a vital role in the initial phases of product development, leading the discovery and prototyping stages of innovative solutions aimed at transforming the insurance landscape. Additionally, you will be instrumental in facilitating the deployment of existing products to both internal and external clients.
Organizational Context
The Division
Within AXA Group Operations, the Group Emerging Technology and Data (GETD) team defines the Group's ambitions regarding data maturity, builds and manages the community, leads research initiatives, supports less data-mature entities, identifies groundbreaking technologies, and develops disruptive applications for the organization.
The Department/Team
In GETD, you will become part of the Computable Contracts team.
Our team has pioneered a solution to render insurance contracts computable. Computable contracts serve as the intersection of law and technology, operating on standardized digital models that are comprehensible to all stakeholders, from legal professionals to everyday customers—and machines. This approach allows for the expression of contract terms directly in machine-executable code, laying the groundwork for automation, standardization, and simplification, which enhance both customer experience (through transparency and personalization) and operational efficiency. This innovative initiative is backed at the executive level and represents a significant opportunity for impact. If you are seeking a meaningful role, possess an entrepreneurial spirit, and embrace challenges, we invite you to join us in this groundbreaking venture.
Job Responsibilities
Primary Purpose
Your initial responsibility as a Product Owner will be to oversee the discovery and delivery of new initiatives aimed at enhancing the existing capabilities of the Computable Contract products or introducing new functionalities through:
· Research: Collaborating with the technical lead and UX/research designer to gather insights and understand the problem landscape, identifying potential solutions. This phase often involves extensive exploration and analysis to define project scope and requirements.
· Proof of Concept: Engaging in the initial iterations of a product or feature, crucial for testing concepts and validating assumptions. Proof of Concepts facilitate user feedback collection and enable rapid iteration before transitioning to full-scale delivery.
· Delivery: You will be accountable for transferring insights to the delivery phase of the initiatives you oversee, which includes drafting detailed specifications, planning tasks, and identifying dependencies within the product roadmap. You will also monitor initiative timelines and deliverables in collaboration with initiative leads.
Your secondary responsibility involves managing the roll-out of existing Computable Contract solutions to new clients, starting internally within AXA entities and subsequently extending to other market players.
For the internal roll-out, your activities will include:
§ Identifying use cases and driving adoption within the most advanced AXA entities.
§ Accelerating and monitoring adoption across AXA efficiently (engagement, reporting, KPI collection, etc.).
§ Structuring the internal roll-out process in collaboration with the customer success and delivery lead, identifying necessary resources.
§ Documenting the onboarding process for internal entities, including API integration.
§ Scaling the adoption of Computable Contracts products within AXA by establishing a single point of contact in each interested entity and relevant global business community.
§ For the external roll-out, the goal is to gauge the interest of P&C Retail insurers in AXA's CC solution by leveraging the most mature modules: Coverage Check.
Lastly, you will support product management by contributing to the product roadmap through benchmarking, market analysis, and creating demos and sales presentations, as well as facilitating the understanding and communication of computational law, computable contracts, and contract comprehension for both internal and external teams.
Additional Responsibilities
- Idea Generation and Exploration: Cultivating innovative ideas and exploring new technologies or methodologies applicable to the project.
- Feasibility Studies: Conducting feasibility assessments to evaluate the practicality and potential impact of proposed ideas.
- User Testing and Feedback Collection: In partnership with the UX designer and initiative leads, conducting user testing sessions and gathering feedback to validate assumptions and identify areas for enhancement. Understanding user perspectives is essential for refining prototypes.
- Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams: Working alongside other product owners, product managers, designers, and developers to ensure prototypes align with user needs and business objectives, facilitating efficient delivery through regular communication and coordination.
Required Skills & Experience
We seek candidates with the following qualifications:
