Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Flexible Services Engineer to join our team at TechnipFMC. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for providing technically complex engineering solutions in challenging project environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert advice on installed SURF products to operators through a hotline service.
- Manage incidents by issuing incident reports, performing root cause analyses, and advising clients on the way forward.
- Recommend suitable inspection tools to support diagnosis and existing facilities, interpreting inspection results using PEDsoft, Orcaflex, and PVTsim.
- Write technical proposals and involve engineering disciplines as required.
- Issue reports on test results, analysis, and interpretation, saving them in a database.
- Presentation and minute of meeting issuance.
- Liaise with FTF, discipline experts, and SPS employees on the field.
- Monitor market trends on existing and new inspection tools.
- Interact with RIM for monitoring equipment.
- Provide qualification support, requiring occasional travel abroad.
Requirements
- Hold a degree in mechanical and/or fluid mechanics engineering or equivalent.
- Have a minimum of 10 years of experience in SURF product, flexible design, manufacturing, and qualifications.
- Knowledge of subsea structures design, rigid pipe design, and/or installation is a plus.
- Mandatory skills: curiosity, rigor, strong technical background, sciences enthusiast, efficiency, creativity, reactiveness, and willingness to share knowledge and humanity.
