About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Director to join our team at AREV Collection. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in driving the financial health and sustainability of our luxury hospitality brand.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Planning and Analysis
    • Develop and implement financial plans and forecasts to support business objectives
    • Monitor and analyze financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions
  • Accounting and Financial Reporting
    • Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
    • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including management accounts and statutory accounts
  • Tax and Compliance
    • Manage tax planning and compliance, including VAT, corporate tax, and property tax
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations
  • Insurance and Risk Management
    • Oversee the management of insurance policies, including property, liability, and business interruption insurance
    • Identify and mitigate financial risks, including currency fluctuations and market volatility
  • Leadership and Team Management
    • Lead and manage a team of accounting and finance professionals
    • Develop and implement training programs to enhance team skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Qualifications
    • Chartered accountant or equivalent accounting experience with a degree in accounting
  • Experience
    • 7+ years of experience in accounting, tax, and corporate management in a hospitality environment, preferably including projects in construction and opening stages
  • Skills
    • High IT proficiency with hospitality accounting point of sale, property management systems, preferably with NetSuite experience
    • Exceptional time, task, and resource management skills
    • Ability to plan for and keep track of multiple projects and deadlines
    • Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • High level of interpersonal skills, discretion, confidentiality, and ability to interact effectively across all organizational levels
    • Fluent in French and English
