IT Operations Engineer, End User Computing Specialist

We are seeking an experienced IT Operations Engineer to join our Infrastructure Technology Team at Point72 Asset Management. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional end-user technology services to our global clients. Your primary focus will be on delivering best-in-class technical support and guidance to our clients, ensuring their technology experience is seamless and efficient.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical support and guidance to clients on a range of IT-related issues, including desktop support, video conferencing solutions, and software applications.
- Collaborate with our global technology team to identify and resolve complex technical issues, providing root cause analyses and recommendations to mitigate future risk.
- Develop and maintain knowledge-based articles to document newly discovered issues and provide training to clients on Point72-related technologies and transformations.
- Perform daily system checks and create status reports to ensure our technology infrastructure is running smoothly.
- Work closely with our technology service providers to establish and maintain service level agreements and ensure seamless delivery of IT services.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a minimum of 4 years of experience in client service, desktop support, or technical support. You should possess a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution with a concentration in Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline. Previous experience supporting investment professionals in the financial industry is highly desirable.
You should also have knowledge of market data and electronic trading platforms, as well as scripting and automation skills using tools such as PowerShell and Splunk. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as you will be working closely with clients and the global technology team to deliver exceptional technology services.
