Job Overview:
As a Databricks Solutions Architect, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing data solutions for our clients. Your expertise will be instrumental in building data lakes, data warehouses, and custom data workflows, ensuring seamless data integration and analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Data/Business Intelligence Projects: Focus on data integration, storage, and preparation, driving business value through data-driven insights.
- Collaborate with Clients: Understand technical and functional needs, setting up architectures for data collection, extraction, and transformation.
- Design and Optimize Data Infrastructures: Build and maintain data lakes and data warehouses, integrating data from multiple sources.
- Create Data Integration and Transformation Workflows: Utilize industry-leading tools or custom development to drive data-driven decision-making.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in cloud data platforms.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Spark, and cloud data platforms (e.g., Azure, Databricks), knowledge of relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL), and cloud architecture expertise (security, cost optimization).
- Programming Experience: Familiarity with programming languages (Java, Python, T-SQL) and APIs/Web Services.
