Role Overview
The Change Management Specialist plays a crucial role in facilitating the effective execution of the Change Management Strategy, ensuring that all relevant parties are informed about the status of all proposed changes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the deployment and continuous assessment of the Change Management Strategy.
- Maintain the Change Log to ensure it accurately represents the current status of changes within the project.
- Oversee all project modifications to ensure timely resolution of any outstanding issues.
- Support the administration of the Change Oversight Committee.
- Provide regular updates and performance metrics to the Senior Project Team regarding project changes.
- Identify and report any patterns in submitted changes to the Senior Project Team for further analysis.
- Engage in ongoing and effective communication with project stakeholders.
- Conduct regular evaluations of the Project Portfolio using the Contract Management Software.
Qualifications
- Proficient understanding of change management principles and practices.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
- Experience in building and nurturing relationships to establish credibility while effectively influencing others towards shared objectives.
- Ability to collaborate effectively, demonstrating resilience and accountability in achieving targets.
- Proven organizational and planning capabilities.
- Commercially aware with a solid understanding of project management methodologies.
- Change Management certification is preferred.
- Familiarity with complex operational environments is advantageous.
- Knowledge of Contract Management Software is beneficial.
- Understanding of relevant engineering and construction contracts is a plus.
