Are you a seasoned professional with expertise in climate finance and sustainable development? Do you have a passion for working in the Pacific region? We are seeking a highly skilled Climate Finance Adviser to join our team at the SPC Pacific Community.
About the RoleThe Climate Finance Adviser will play a critical role in coordinating the implementation of climate change projects and providing technical guidance to Pacific Island countries. You will work closely with our team to identify, develop, and design projects that address the region's climate change priorities.
Key Responsibilities- Provide strategic advice to Pacific Island countries on climate finance and project development.
- Lead the coordination of climate change projects and ensure compliance with funding requirements.
- Develop and maintain relationships with donors, governments, and other stakeholders.
- Provide technical guidance and training to key stakeholders on climate change and sustainable development.
- Master's degree in a relevant field, such as environmental science, economics, or finance.
- At least 7 years of experience in climate finance and sustainable development.
- Proven track record in project development and implementation, particularly in the Pacific region.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
