Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Analyst to join our team at American President Lines. As a Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for managing the reliability of financial information and related analysis for the Technical Ship Management of our fleet of vessels.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in the monthly closing process
- Ensure costs booking accuracy
- Analyze monthly gaps between actual and budget/forecast
- Analyze the year prognosis
- Perform monthly financial review with the fleet team
- Produce monthly review synthesis to the business control manager
- Provide support to build budget and forecast
- Participate in process and tool improvement
Requirements
- Relevant degree in Controlling / Finance
- At least 3 years of experience in business control
- Proficient in accounting and more precisely in closing transactions
- Good communication skills in spoken and written English
- Proficient in advanced Microsoft Excel
- Good analytical and organizational skills
