We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Contract and Procurement Manager to join our team at AESC France. As a key member of our Commercial and Contracting department, you will play a crucial role in procuring equipment and materials for our industrial construction projects.
Key Responsibilities- Procurement Strategy Development: Establish a procurement strategy for construction services, engineering, and materials based on project plans.
- Market Research and Sourcing: Stay up-to-date with market trends and continuously source the best products and services at reasonable prices.
- Contract Management: Create and execute procurement strategies, manage vendor contracts, and track vendor payments.
- Bidding and Tendering: Organize bidding and tendering processes, nominate vendors, and renegotiate business plans as needed.
- Cost Savings and Optimization: Proactively identify cost-saving solutions to support company growth and industrial development.
- Global Partnerships: Partner with suppliers and vendors globally to identify strategies for scaling second product development.
- Education: Master's degree in Engineering or related field.
- Experience: At least 8 years of experience in purchasing areas, preferably in MEP, Construction, or Facilities space, with large industrial construction projects (>$100m capex).
- Skills: Strategic sourcing, opportunity analysis, contract negotiations, excellent written and verbal communication, and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power BI.
- Personal Qualities: Inquisitive and open attitude, willingness to continuously learn, ability to work in a high-performance organization with challenging timelines and goals, and ability to train and mentor colleagues.
