Your Role: Retail Merchandiser
As a Retail Merchandiser, you will play a crucial role in ensuring optimal product presentation and availability on shelves within major retail outlets. You will be responsible for implementing merchandising plans, maintaining shelf displays, and ensuring that products are stocked and presented according to brand guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and maintain attractive and organized product displays in accordance with provided instructions.
- Conduct regular stock checks and replenish shelves to prevent stockouts and ensure optimal product visibility.
- Execute facing and storage operations to enhance product presentation and brand visibility.
- Adhere to established merchandising plans, ensuring accurate placement of products and promotional materials.
- Monitor inventory levels and promptly address any product shortages.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual with a proven track record in retail merchandising. The ideal candidate will possess:
- Significant experience working within large distribution environments, preferably as a Merchandiser or Shelf Employee/Department Manager.
- A strong understanding of merchandising techniques and best practices for shelf management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with retail staff and colleagues.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring accurate execution of tasks.
- Proactive approach and the ability to work independently while adhering to established guidelines.
- Comprehensive knowledge of food products across various categories (fresh, grocery, frozen, etc.).
- Good physical stamina and the ability to handle repetitive tasks.
- Basic computer skills for reporting and communication purposes.
- Adaptability and willingness to learn new procedures in a dynamic environment.
