Job Title: Early Childhood Educator

Community Action Partnership is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team. As an Early Head Start Teacher, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality early education and child development services to young children and their families.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and organized learning environment that promotes healthy development and skill growth in children. You will work closely with families to build relationships, provide responsive care, and support children's engagement. Your role will also involve implementing the Head Start Early Learning Outcomes Framework, Daycare Licensing Minimum Standards, and Agency Policies and Procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality early education and child development services
• Implement the Head Start Early Learning Outcomes Framework, Daycare Licensing Minimum Standards, and Agency Policies and Procedures
• Provide responsive care and support children's engagement
• Build relationships with families and provide regular communication
• Assess children's development and learning
• Engage in Practice Based Coaching and follow program Policies and Procedures

Requirements:

• Minimum of a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential
• AA or BS degree in Early Childhood or related field (preferred)
• Valid driver's license, proof of vehicle insurance, and safe driving record
• Proficient computer skills

Working Conditions:

The Early Childhood Educator will work primarily in a classroom setting, actively engaging children in play and outdoor activities. The role requires sitting, standing, bending, and minimal lifting of at least 40 pounds. The successful candidate will also be required to make two home visits per child each school year.
